Stop Codes (8E and 24)

I have a Dell Dim E521 running Windows XP Media Center. Couple of weeks ago it started running slow. I ignored the same thinking would be taking some updates. But after few days, I started getting Bluescreens 2 to 3 times a day. As per troubleshooting ran Windows Recovery (chkdsk /r). It found many errors but fixed it as well. I was happy that my system will not get the BSOD as the problems are fixed now.

But after 5 to 6 hours, I started getting BSOD again but this once in every two hours. Yeah, the frequency increased. The error mentioned in the error are of two types, sometimes it says “0X0000008E” and sometimes “0X00000024.” Any help how can I fix this BSODs?

Did you checked the Event Viewer for more info on this error? What is listed over there? If not checked yet, please do it now. You can do this by going to Start, click RUN. Type “eventvwr.msc” and press Enter. Check the latest listing and reply back with the info.

I just checked the even viewer, there are various listed but one thing that is repeated several times is "The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: nvatabus nvraid." There is one more line repeated more often is "Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 805d6c7c, parameter3, f3fa6bf4, parameter4 00000000."

What will you suggest now? Thanks again.

This seems to be very critical and hardware problem. You should better contact dell about this before doing anything yourself.
