.edb has reached its maximum size
I have installed SBS 2003 on my computer and I am getting an error message from yesterday along with different complaints of people not being able to send email. Check the below error for instance:
"Information Store (1876) First Storage Group: The database E:\Exchange\priv1.edb has reached its maximum size of 16382 MB. If the database cannot be restarted, an offline defragmentation may be performed to reduce its size".
Any ideas how to solve this issue?
Re: .edb has reached its maximum size
Prior to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2), there was no method to configure database size limits for Exchange Server 2003. Exchange Server 2003 SP2 introduces the following new features given on this link - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...78ab7c09c.aspx
Re: .edb has reached its maximum size
Exchange Server 2003 mailbox store does not mount when the mailbox store database reaches the 16-GB limit. This issue may occur if the Exchange mailbox store database of Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition has reached the 16-GB size limit. Follow the below link to solve the issue that you are facing:
