Hi, I am using MS Office 2003 since long years. Now finally decided to upgrade the same to Office 2007. But somewhere I read a term "License Lock Box". Can anyone here please let me know what exactly is "License Lock Box" when considering buying of Office 2007? Thank you very much for all suggestions and helps.
Are you sure the term you have mentioned is proper? Is it ‘License Lock Box’ ? Because personally I have never heard anything like this. Also when I searched it on web including Wikipedia, Microsoft or Google, I dint found anything regarding this.
So will request you to recheck and post the correct phrase.
I think its not ‘License Lock Box’, it use to be "The license is locked to the box". This message usually occurs on OEM version of Office that use to come with brands such as Dell , HP, IBM, etc.
Am I right?
You are talking about a phrase that is specific to Digital River. Apparently, it is a guarantee that, once you have paid for software, you will be able to download it.
