Vista Home Premium and Domains
I have recently purchased a new laptop that came with Vista home premium preinstalled on it. What I want to do is join a domain at the office that is running Windows SErver 2003 with Exchange server. Can anyone tell me how to make this possible? Thanks for any information.
Re: Vista Home Premium and Domains
If you want domain access then you will need to have Vista Ultimate or Vista Business.
Re: Vista Home Premium and Domains
Yes, you would be requiring either Vista Business or Vista Ultimate to join a domain. But since you are talking about Exchange, then do you want to read your email and all that you want, to do with your domain connection? Have you tried configuring outlook to connect to the exchange server and supply your domain credentials. You can always try to do a manual configuration of outlook to connect to an exchange.
