Bug report - Vista x64 wireless LAN fails after sleep/hibernate
This is Lenovo Thinkpad T60 laptop running with windows Vista Ultimate X64. I have a Wireless Network running with Linksys WAP54G AP at my home and the laptop is connected with the same. Problem is that every time I put my laptop in sleep mode or hibernation and when it awake, it cannot connect the network anymore. While troubleshooting this problem I found that after waking up there is no IPv4 connectivity, NIC fails to acquire an IP address via DHCP after resume, and repair fails.
The only way to fix this temporarily and reconnect the network is either restarting the laptop by resetting the Wireless NIC. Can somebody please provide me permanent solution for the same? Thanks in advance.
