I have recently purchased HP Pavilion Slimline computer that came with Windows Vista preinstalled on it. Now what I want to do is, am trying to network both the computers together. I am able to ping each computer but I am not getting any response back from them and then I get an error code 0x80070035. Can anyone tell me how do I solve this problem? Thanks for any suggestions.
You can download and install a software called Network Magic which is a transmission system designed for users who are not expert in network management. The program has several functions. Have you tried to turn on network discovery, if not, then follow the below steps:
- First of all you need to open Advanced sharing settings by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type network, click Network and Sharing Center, and then, in the left pane, click Change advanced sharing settings.
- After that you can click the chevron button to expand the current network profile.
- Check to see if network discovery is off, under Network discovery, click Turn on network discovery, and then click save changes. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
