Activesync 4.2 error 8000ffff
I want to sync a mobile phone to an SBS 2003 Exchange Server. All the server settings are proper but after when I try to sync the phone, then it shows it needs attention for exchange server and gives the 8000ffff error message? Can anyone please help me? Thanks.

Is this problem happening on other mobile phones as well? You can try to test on a PPC 2003 mobile if you want. Incase you are synchronizing to the Exchange Server then try to do the following:
- First of all run CEICW to configure the Exchange server and publish it again.
- After that try to create a new user account with mailbox and configure this account on the mobile, see how things go.
- Now you can check whether this issue is happening while accessing mailbox by OMA? For further test, please login Exchange Server itself, and access URL: http://Exchange_Server/OMA, verify whether you can access the mailbox successfully.
- You can also try another pocket pc to see if it is client side issue.
