Updating Office 2007 Professional Trial to Office 2007 Ultimate

I had trial copy of Office 2007 professional in my system but today i have bought Office 2007 Ultimate for updating the trail copy using product key. I have updated outlook, word, powerpoint, and excel without any issue but i am not able to update onenote as it is not recognizing product key. I am not able to make out what's wrong, has any one faced similar issue and has any idea about it??

I am not sure but while going through your post, you are having trial copy of Office 2007 professional installed in your system where as you are using Office 2007 Ultimate key for updating it. I think that's where you are going wrong. I don't know how you were able to update outlook, word, power point, and excel successfully. I don't think that you are allowed to use Ultimate key for updating professional. You can contact ms support and find out what they have to say about this scenario.

Yes you cannot use Office 2007 Ultimate key for updating trial copy of Office 2007 professional. I will suggest you to better uninstall trial version of 2007 professional and other version and make clean installation of Office 2007 Ultimate.
