Custom folder view... folder.htt equivalent?
I want to make one particular folder on a network share appear
differently. I've got some mileage from specifying a custom icon and
tooltip text in desktop.ini, but ideally I'd like to display some custom
text in the Windows XP Explorer task pane or elsewhere equally visible.
I suppose what I'm trying to do is what you could achieve with
folder.htt in Windows 98.
Re: Custom folder view... folder.htt equivalent?
folder.htt still good in XP.

....folder customization through hypertext templates (.htt files) has been
deemphasized in Windows XP and important restrictions have been applied.
