email icon greyed out in Office Home and Student 97
I upgraded my Windows XP computer to Windows Vista Home. Also installed Office Home and Student 97 suite on the same. Everything is working fine except Windows Mail. I have a Word file which I want to send as an attachment but don’t why the Email Icon under Send To option is grayed out, not clickable. I don’t know what could be the reason and hence need you guys help. Apart from this can anyone please also tell me why all my office apps headers says “Non Commercial Use”?
Thanks for your helps.

Uninstall any and all version of Office via Add/Remove, together with the Activation Assistant, reboot the PC. Install office from cd/dvd
Re: email icon greyed out in Office Home and Student 97
I had to clean install Vista and I had to figure out how to email from office word 2007 home and student using windows mail. There are quite a few fixes on the internet with some tweeking registry, etc. I finally found a simple answer which actually gives me a different look than I had before, but works great.
#1. Open Word
#2. Right click on tool bar
#3. Chose Customize Quick Access
#4. On the chose Commands drop down...
#5. click All Commands
#6. then chose Send To Mail Recipient
Good Luck!!
