HP AVC-3610 Dual Tuner USB and Windows Vista Media Center
I am using Vista Ultimate and checked that I needed to upgrade the printer and scanner, which was done properly, but I am having some problems with AVC-3610 USB Dual Tuner that is not working properly. It will show up in the device manager without any errors but if I try to set up MCE then it will say that it cannot find the tuner. Can anyone please help me out.
Re: HP AVC-3610 Dual Tuner USB and Windows Vista Media Center
Have you tried to run it in MCE 2005 before you upgraded to Windows Vista? Many tuners will run in Windows XP or run in Vista that wont run in MCE 2005 or Vista Media Center because they do not have Mpeg2 encoding on the tuner card or there might be some cases built into MCE compatible BDA drivers. They might be able to run on other PC TV application programs.
Re: HP AVC-3610 Dual Tuner USB and Windows Vista Media Center
It was running properly in MCE 2005 without any problems. But the strange thing is that it shows the the drivers being loaded in the device manager and working perfectly, so there might be some other things to this install this is missing. I have loaded the drivers on Windows Vista MCE with the latest windows update but still it wont recognize that there is a tuner present. Any other ideas?
