NT Kernel & System (Resource Monitor)
My system is working slow. I am having Windows Vista. When the system starts it works well for few minutes. Then the cpu is 100% utilized by NT Kernal & System listing. I checked that in resource manager. It is not getting low under any condition. The system usage just remain high and does not went down. I tried many things here but it does not looks to be working well. I need some help to fix the problem. How can I change this thing and block the service to consume my cpu resources.
Re: NT Kernel & System (Resource Monitor)
There are numerous services work on the background. What more you can do is simply kill the process. Boot your system in safe mode and then run msconfig. From there disable all startup applications and then test back. I think that will be simply more better in fixing the problem you are facing. It is a common problem with many systems. There are some advance resource manager tool on the web that can give you detail information on various service running in the system background. You can just terminate them or simply turn them off. That would be simply enough to fix the issue.
