da vinci code game not work

I have installed Windows XP and am not able to run this game. The game has been properly installed but if I am clicking on the game icon on the desktop to launc it, then the hour glass spins a little and then in the end, there will be an error message of Ecception access violation exception encountered! When I click on more information, then it will give:

Are you using the original cd/DVD of the game and not the pirated one, because if you are using the pirated version then we cannot help you for the same.

Even I am facing the same problem, does anyone know a solution for this issue?
