Microsoft Management Console has encountered a problem and needs to close

If I am going to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Component Sevices then I am getting the above error message. It is happening with MMC 2.0 so I upgraded to MMC 3.0 and again got the same error message. It is only happening when I choose the Component Services. Does any have any suggestions to fix this issue? Thanks

Can you try to post the Error reports in the System and application logs in Event Viewer when the error occurs. You can access the Event Viewer by choosing Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools and Event Viewer. Check the below link for instance:
