After upgrading to Media Player 11, I found that there were some albums which are not at all visible. I am playing some set of songs on the same. The album art is visible in Now playing but not in the library. Is there any peculiar settings for this. I had bought some new music cd which I ripped and store them in the hard drive. The album image is just not visible. It does not look good at all.
Just verify once that the files are not set as hidden in the album folders. If they are not generated then this kind of issues are common. Second thing if you want you can embed images in the track you have. I had also faced the same issue when I tried to rip some new cd's after upgrading Windows Media Player. I tried numerous settings but nothing worked out and at last I restore the old version back.
I do not think unhiding those files can help much here. The files are generated with the track and there are well embedded. Due to which you can see the album cove while playing the songs. It looks Media Player is bit buggy in terms of album art. I am here talking about the new edition. I am having around 200 songs. I am embedding images in each of them manually and they are visible, but it is not taking them directly from the CD file.
When youre in the library, press F4.
See if that works.
