Slow shutdown "Closing network connections"

Since updating some of our windows xp systems a week ago they have started running in to slow shutdown issue. Before the system shutdowns completely the Closing network connections box is displayed for 15 to 20 minutes. I am not able to make out which update has caused this issue and i want to know what can i do to fix this issue as well. Has anyone else faced similar issue or has any idea about it???

I have been having the same problem on one off our site aswell on
Windows XP Pro machines which are hooked up to a network.

When logging off "Closing Network Connections" takes years just to close.

1. What is your DNS Servers TCP/IP Settings? [IP Add/Sub/Gateway/DNS]
2. What are your Client Machine TCP/IP Setting? [IP Add/Sub/Gateway/DNS]
3. Are you using Roaming Profiles or Local Profiles?
4. Do you have mapped drives on your Client Machines?

Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\sessionmanager\memory management\ClearPageFileAtShutdown
Set the value as 0 instead of 1 your problem of shuting down of windows xp will be faster
