Drive 1 not found; Serial ATA, SATA-2 Strike f1 to continue F2 for
I have got a Dell Dimension E310 and its power supply is recently replaced by me that was under warranty from the Dell company. There is no issues yet and I put the install disk inside the CDRom and then reinstalled Windows XP again. However I did not choose to reformat and I just reinstalled and therefore have got 2 Windows version on my pc but it defaults to the one that I want. Now the problem that I am facing is that I get an error everytime when I boot up the machine and when I click F1 then it will work properly. But I want to get rid of this error. So can anyone tell me how to solve this problem.

It will be better if you will ask the Dell support team about this issue since F1 error is issued before Windows boots up properly.

Even I was having this same issues on my computer after installing a CD drive and then the hard drive turned to Drive 0. So, one of my mate told me to just swap the CD to the Drive 0 connection and then the hard drive to the Drive 1 connection and it worked immediately.
