Error Code: 0x8007045D

I downloaded a copy of Windows Vista Business edition after comparing my system configurations with Vista system requirements. According to the same Business edition appeared to be perfect for my computer. Now when I am trying to install the same, Setup gets freezed on 8% and ends up with the following error message:

“Error Code: 0x8007045D”

I even trying running Upgrade as well as clean install but still the same error message at the same stage. As of now I am using Windows XP pro with Service Pack 2. Can anyone please tell me what could be the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks.

Hello Cris, can you tell me how are you exactly running the setup? I mean is it directly from the burnt DVD or using a Virtual disk drive software ?

If you are running it from DVD and that problem occurs then probably there would be have been some problem with burning the DVD. You should burn the downloaded ISO again on a new DVD but make sure the at the lowest speed 1 to 2x.

If still you get the same problem then extract the ISO using WinRar to a folder on your D drive and run the setup directly from the root. See if you still get the same problem. Hope anyone of these will work for you.
