Cannot open Internet from a hyperlink in an email in Outlook
I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 beta with MSO beta as well.If I am clicking on a hyperlink in Outlook beta, then I am getting the below message:
Microsoft Office Outlook
This operation has been canceled due to restrictions on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. [OK]
I have not set any type of restrictions. So, how should I solve this issue so that I will be able to open a hyperlink in an email in Outlook? Thanks.
Re: Cannot open Internet from a hyperlink in an email in Outlook
Can you try to open Internet Explorer and then go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab. After that select reset web settings and then click ok and close the dialog. After that go to Start and then Run and then type the below command and press ok:
regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll
If this is not working for you then follow the below link:

Re: Cannot open Internet from a hyperlink in an email in Outlook
I checked and found out that web settings is not located in Tools > Programs tab in outlook 2007. So I ran the command and it failed as well. I have imported the registry key from a working computer as per the link that you have given but that didnt work as well. Any other ideas?
Re: Cannot open Internet from a hyperlink in an email in Outlook
I told you to do that in Internet Explorer and not Outlook 2007. Do you use IE7, if yes then shdocvw.dll can't be registered.
