CCsvchost.exe?
I am getting some kind of error message about the CCsvchost.exe and also that the memory cannot be read when ever I am shutting down my computer. I have got Norton internet security installed on my machine and was thinking if it was something to do with it. So, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the norton internet security on my computer many times but still get this error. I am on Windows XP with Service Pack 2, can anyone help.

RE: CCsvchost.exe?
Ccsvchst exe file located in (C: Progam Files / Common Files) also creates problems in the boot process of Windows which translates into above mentioned error. The best way to solve this problem is to make minor adjustments to your system. You can also try to give some reports that could be generated in the event viewer, for that click on Start and then Control Panel and then Performance and Maintenance, Administrative Tools and then double-click Computer Management and then expand Event Viewer.

The error memory could not be written can be caused by defective RAM. So try to check the RAM with the "Memory" test on the boot screen or with MemTest 86+ tool. It can be also caused by third party device drivers that you have installed in your computer, so try to remove all those one by one and see which drivers are affecting the computer. If still no dice then there might be too many programs starting up at the boot. So try to do a clean boot and see if that works - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353
