Can I eliminate GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe?
When I launched Task Manager and then clicked on Processes then the GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe was occuping 1000k+ of memory and I wonder why is it using so much of memory, as it shouldnt. Therefore I wanted to know a way to eliminate this process and even if I kill the same process then will the toolbar work normally like before or not?
Re: Can I eliminate GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe?
I dont think that you need the toolbar, as the computer will work fine without it as well. And you if dont want to run it then use NTFS to set a deny all ACE on the file and it will never run. But I dont know or cannot say for sure whether the toolbar will work or not because it is a third party tool and those are very buggy sometimes.
Re: Can I eliminate GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe?
Thanks for the reply but I really do require Google Toolbar since I do all the searching from google and yahoo and microsoft are not accurate thats why. Please tell me a workaround to run this toolbar without the notifier.exe process, it would be very helpful.
