Setting Time In Ubuntu?

My system clock is set to Dec 31st 1903 and is crashing all my GUI in Ubuntu, anyone know the terminal commands to set the time?

no, I need to hard set it, cause I cant set up internet on the computer until I get the date set so the GUI will work.

yeah, that sounds like bios

most likely something like "system time" or "system clock" under general

change that to what you want and the OS should automatically link up
