My DVD burner has stopped working, i have checked out Device manager and it says
"Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)".
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling its driver but i see the same error message. Is there anything i can do about it.
Rather than uninstalling and reinstalling the driver better make clean installation of the latest driver. I have checked out LITEONIT web site and they have come up with latest driver for most of their LITEONIT drives. One of my friend was facing the same issue with his LITE-ON DVD/RW SHW-160P6s, since making clean installation of the latest driver his DVD drive has started working properly and he is not facing any issues now.
