WINDOWS VISTA OUTLOOK EXPRESS 0x800C006C
Am using Windows Vista with Office 2007 Home edition. I’ve configured Outlook 2007 with POP3 accounts. There was no error during the setup but don’t know why I’m not able to send any mail from Outlook. Every time I try doing the same it gives me the following error code:
“An unknown error has occurred. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C006C”
Outlook worked fine for week without any problem than what has gone wrong suddenly? Any help please?

There is some problem with your Outgoing server. Just go to Tools in your Outlook, click Accounts, click Mails and select Properties. Now go to Advanced and confirm your Server address and port numbers are proper. You can get the proper port number on the email provider’s official web page. Correct everything and see if it works.

I’ll suggest just one thing. instead of Outlook or Windows Mail, if you are using Windows Vista 32 bit, simply upgrade to Windows Live Mail. Its much better, faster and easier than them.
