I have came across error code 0x80070641 in windowsupdate.log, it wasn't there yesterday i dont know why it came up today. My system is not able to install any update because of the error. Is there anyone who has any idea of this error and can help em out sorting it? any help for fixing this error will be appreciative, Thanks in advance.
Error code 0x80070641 seem to be related to Windows Installer, Just try re-registering it and see if you are able to get rid of it.
You just have to Open cmd and enter below command, just hit enter after each command.
msiexec /Unregister
msiexec /regserver
If you face same error after re-registering then late me know, i will suggest you other possible solutions to deal with it.
These command's helped me out.
msiexec /Unregister
msiexec /regserver
windows installer is working fine and i am not getting same error message in windowsupdate.log.
