Codec C00D10D1
I am having Windows XP laptop with Service Pack to and Windows Media Player 10. Whenever I try playing a Video file, I use to get an error message saying something like Codec C00D10D1. I guess it is related to some missing codec which is required for playing that file in Windows Media Player. Hence so far I have tried installing more than 6 codecs from web bit the error appears yet.
Can anyone please tell me which Codec does it requires? How can I get rid of this error and play my video files? Help appreciated.

Re: Codec C00D10D1
As you said you already tried over six codec packs but WMP is still not able to play the file and giving you error, then you first need to find out what exactly your system wants. You can do this using G-Spot Codec identifier and analyze the file. You can download G-Spot from here: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/GSpot270a.zip
Also let me tell you that when install several codec packs, your system gets confused and it will give you several error messages. I would suggest you to uninstall all of them and simply download K-Lite codec. Hopefully there will be no error messages any more.
