Office 2003 Standard MultiLingual User Interface (MUI) installation
It is my fresh assembled computer with pretty good configuration. As of now there are just Microsoft products installed on this computer such as (obviously the operating system) Windows XP SP2 with .Net 1.1 SP1, .Net 2.0, and Windows Installer 2. Later I installed Office 2003 with service pack 2. Now I was trying to install Office MultiLingual User Interface (MUI) but was only able to install French. When I going to install any other language it gives me an error stating:
“Please install Microsoft Office 2003 and then run Microsoft Office 2003 User Interface pack setup again.”
What is meant by that ? is it saying me to remove office and then install its language pack ? Somebody please help.
Re: Office 2003 Standard MultiLingual User Interface (MUI) installation
Seems like people don’t have any idea about this? Anyways, here’s a small update in my progress. As a workaround I downloaded Office SP2 Patch from one of the Microsoft site for each language. I extracted the same and applied msp to the msi for the appropriate language with:
“%path%/MUISP2-%lang%ff.msp" /a"%path%/mui.msi” but still getting the same error. It says SkuredLpkSupp still fails. FYI, I searched for this file on Google but got only one reference result that too was in some other language. I tried translating it but yet was very tough to understand what was written over there. Any one with any advice?

Hi,
did you try to install the SPs at the end.
1. Office 2003
2. MUI
3. Office SP
4. MUI SP
