HD audio bus drivers - freshly loaded IBM t60/t42 or other
I am having two IBM laptops. The first one is Lenovo T42 & the second one is Lenovo T60. I had formatted both the system and installed fresh drivers from the official website. I got a message on the screen saying The HDA Audio bus driver is required and not found. I am getting this common error on both. This simply means the audio is not working. I tried to run Windows Update but there was some issue with that also. How can I make this work. Thanks.

i had the same problem, you can't install your audio driver first, the hd audio is connected with you modem for some reason so you have to install your modem first. i had the same problem with my t60.

did you try to install your modem manually?
by right clicking my computer, properties, hardware tab, device manager, click on the yellow question mark, update driver. select choose from a specific location, and browse, c:\drivers\HDAMODEM
exactly how many errors do you have on your computer or how many drivers do you have that is not yet installed?
