Solution: Error 0x80190194 / 0x80244019 while downloading updates

I’m sorry if this problem has been discussed earlier also or if it sounds old but I’m in urgent need of help. Actually am running a Windows 2003 server with WSUS and there are several clients connected to it. Problem is there are certain updates which are not getting installed on all those clients no matter how many times I try, they get failed every time. Also there is the same error message mentioned on all clients machines under "%windir%\WindowsUpdate.log" file and it is:

“DnldMgr WARNING: BITS job {F65EC03C-34DC-4CFC-BDFD-EA8DF7A1FBB2} failed, updateId = {9829AC5C-CF1D-4706-A3C3-8DC63A1F5924}.100, hr = 0x80190194, BG_ERROR_CONTEXT = 5

DnldMgr Error 0x80244019 occurred while downloading update; notifying dependent calls. “

While checking for these error codes under WSUS, it appears both error codes are the same as HTTP status 404 - "The server cannot find the requested URI (Uniform Resource Identifier)." When I tried entering that URL manually in Internet Explorer it showed me “404 Not Found error.”

I think if your WSUS’s MIME types are not already registered, you should have registered those MIME types. This may fix the problem.

That sounds something new to me when you say MIME types should registered. I would like to know more about this hence I did google search but dint found any info. Can you provide me the same please? Is there any documentation provided regarding the same? Please give me its URL. Thank you.

I have .psf registered on my workstation as 'AutoCAD LT PostScript Patterns'. I do have AutoCAD installed. The .psf in not a registered file typ on my WSUS server as seen by Windows Explorer.
