I am getting below error in windowsupdate.log and i am not able to sort it out.

Shutdwn FATAL: WUAutoUpdateAtShutdown failed, hr=8024000C can be caused because of corrupted WindowsUpdateAgen or corrupted datastore. You can download and install WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86.exe using the /wuforce switch for fixing corrupted WUA, where as you can rename %windir%\SoftwareDistribution folder to SoftwareDistribution.old and %windir%\WindowsUpdate.log file to WindowsUpdate.log.old. Once you have made these changes simply restart automatic Updates service and check out if things are working fine again.
It was because of corrupted WindowsUpdateAgen in my case, i downloaded WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86.exe from here and using /wuforce switch i was able to fix the error, thanks for your quick reply.
