Error C00D11C7
Hi,
This is windows xp with service pack 2 and windows media player 10 installed. Though i’m logged in as Administrator of the computer, while trying to burn CD am not able to tick the auto box in Windows Media Player.
Do I need any special codec to enable this option? Somebody please provide some suggestion. Thank you.

Re: Error C00D11C7
Are you trying to burn any movies with avi or mkv file? Always provide enough details to understand you proper and provide suggestions properly. What is the exact file type you trying to burn?
If it is just MP files than WMP wont require any codec for burning them. BTW, are you able to play them in media player?

RE: Error C00D11C7
No, it is not any mkv or avi file, it is the simple MP3 files am trying to burn using WMP 10 on a blank CD. I tried burning one CD with Real Player it went properly, then whats the problem with WMP ? Also, it is not playing those music files any more. Whenever i try playing them from the library, it just turns into gray and gives me an error code "0xCooD11C7". please help.

Re: Error C00D11C7
If you are not able to play it in WMP how can you think of burning them on CD using WMP. Burning is the second problem. You should first checkout about your first problem why those files are unplayable in WMP though they are in library.
Anyways, as a solution will suggest you to remove each and every codec you have in your system. Restart the computer. Download DivX codec pack and install. Problem should be solved now.
