Uninstall/Reinstall Exchange Server on SBS 2003

This is SBS 2003, I wanted to re-install Exchange server due to some reason. But while I was trying to uninstall Exchange it gave me an error message saying “Setup failed while installing sub-component Exchange ActiveSync with error code 0X80072030 (please consult the installation log for detailed description). You may cancel the installation or try the failed step again.” Here the option ‘Retry’ wont work, so the only option left for me is to ‘Cancel.’

And I try reinstalling directly without removing it, I get similar message regarding ‘Information Store Service.’ Whiel searching for help I came across a Microsoft Article which says the following services must be running during this process: IIS Admin, WWW Publishing, SMTP and NNTP services. Well all these services are running but still getting that error.

So finally I came here to know what is the working method of reinstalling Exchange Server on my SBS 2003? Please help.

I'm having the exact same problem removing a 2003 Exchange server after adding a 2007 exchange server. I got stuck removing the OMA notifications. Here are the logs you requested from the previous poster:
