Antec 1200 vs Antec 900 case
I am going to build a new computer with Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO, Intel Core i5 CPU, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, Corsair 8GB RAM, GTX 970 graphics card and a Seasonic 750W power supply. Now I am not able to decide which computer case should I go with, whether Antec 1200 or the Antec 900. I am looking to buy a full tower case only. I was also hoping that the CPU cooler that I have picked will fit properly into any of these cases? Thanks for any suggestions.
Re: Antec 1200 vs Antec 900 case
As far as I can tell, the Antec 1200 case are very much similar to the Antec 900 case, so better get the 900 case because it will cost you less compared to the heavy price you pay for the 1200 case. It has very good space for heavy builds but note that if the graphics card is too large then you wont be able fit it moving some things around. The airflow in this case is very amazing and the built-in fans have got 3 settings so you can adjust them if they are too noisy.

Even I am using Antec 900 case for my computer build and I also added 3 fans simply to optimize airflow. There is no doubt that it is a great case and there is plenty of room but beware that it is a heavy weight metal as well. I have been using this case for almost 3-4 years now and it has proven to its core. The fan on the top of the case gives great airflow capability. In looks wise, it also seems decent.

I dont like either of those because they are pretty old and at a similar price you can get good cases around as well. In any case I would suggest you to go with the Corsair Carbide Series 300R case which comes for $80 only. The case interior is full black in color and also has good quality feet. The case design is very stylish and you even get a good airflow for the most part. You can mount upto 6 140mm fans that will move a lot of air without making much noise.
