Gigabyte G1 980 vs Evga GTX 980
I am looking to buy the best graphics card available in the market and so I do not really care about any budget. I just want to play the games in full resolution to its limit on my pc. So I was checking out some video card and found out two most suitable ones, ie; Gigabyte GTX 980 and Evga GTX 980. I did some research on both these cards and also read reviews where I found both are good for playing games. But I am wondering which one will benfit me more for long durations. Thanks

I think that it will be good that you should go with the Gigabyte GTX 980 graphics card since it is comparatively cheaper than the Evga one and comes almost with the same performance benefits. Or else you can also check the same models with different companies such as MSI, Asus but not to a EVGA smaller extent. There is also another GALAX GeForce GTX 980 HOF but I am really not sure how powerful it can be.

Well, since you are looking for the best graphics card in the market then there is no better than a GTX 980 card and till now the Gigabyte G1 cooler is the best video card compared to all other cards in the same range. The best part is that you can even overclock the Gigabyte G1 GTX 980 without much difficulties and also it is the best overall performer. You should also be find running this card on a 550W modular power supply.

If you can wait till Q2 2015 then you will get to see the new line of graphics card from AMD which will be available soon. You can even expect to get a good performance from those cards which will be 20nm and 3d stacked HBM and it will also lead to price cuts from Nvidia. If these new AMD cards are not worth the performance and price then you can still enjoy you wait over for the GTX 980 card because its price will be dropped from 10% to 20%.
