GTX 970 video card in Antec One case
I am already having an Antec One computer case and now I am looking to upgrade to Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card. I had a doubt whether this video card will easily fit inside the case or not? Does anyone have any idea on same? I checked on the Antec website and found out that the maximum size video card that will fit in Antec One case is 10.5-inches. And the video card that I am going for has a length of 265mm + or so. So can anyone tell me if this components will be compatible?
Re: GTX 970 video card in Antec One case
Can you tell us which Nvidia GTX 970 brand graphics card you are going to purchase, there are many brands offering GTX 970 cards such as Gigabyte, MSI, Asus, EVGA, etc. If you are going to purcahse the MSI GTX 970 then its length is around 269mm and it will not fit in your Antec One computer case but still if you can do some case modification by cutting the edges then you can accomodate this card in the same case.
Re: GTX 970 video card in Antec One case
Well, if you can purchase the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 graphics card then perhaps you can fit this video card in your Antec One Case properly since it comes with a size of 9.5" x 4.376" only. With this card you can play games at 1080p resolution. This card has got a good amount of video memory compared to any other similar model. The best part is that even at high settings the card runs very quietly. So, I would definitely suggest you to go with this card.
Re: GTX 970 video card in Antec One case
The ASUS GTX970-DCMOC-4GD5 craphics cards is also very smaller compared to any other card in the market and it will easily fit in your Antec One case. However, this card's temperature gets a bit higher if you are playing games at high settings for 1-2 hours or so. So, it would be better to get a decent secondary cooler for the card as well along with the CPU cooler to take down some of the overheating problem.
