How to get Moto X notification on your Desktop
Moto X comes with a handy feature called as Motorola Connect. This feature allow you to get phone notification on your desktop. Sometime you might not feel to touch the phone. You can keep that thing aside and work on your pc. Through Motorola Connect you can check the phone notification on your pc itself. Motorola Connect allows you to use Google Chrome for sending messages and for checking out recent calls. When there are new messages in your phone you will get a popup on the desktop pc. The tool is simple to use and very handy when you keep your phone on charging. You can use your pc or laptop for checking out different notification. This ting work through Google Chrome Extension. You can use your Gmail Id to create a Motorola ID that will be used for identifying the device. You require a Gmail id for this and no other id works. The extension needs Google Chrome. If you exist Chrome the notification will be stopped. through the extension you can also send messages. so lest checkout how to use it.
To configure tap on Settings > Motorola Connect
Tap on Get started and accept the privacy statement.

You have to choose your account from here. You can also add a separate account if you want. This only works with Gmail id. Tap on Next and then tap on OK.
Motorola Connect is configured now. You can simply checkout other stuff from the next screen. The next step is to configure the same on PC.
Start Google Chrome and sign in to your Gmail account. Then search for Motorola Connect Extension. Add that on the browser.
You have to allow the app to access your mail and profile info. Click on access.
You will get an final message at the end. This is the process where you have to sign-up for a Motorola ID. You can use your Google account for the same.
That's it. It is not configured. Whenever there are new notification in your phone you can see that on the desktop. You can also see the battery status and network indicator at the bottom left. From the right you can reduce the phone volume also.
