How to measure fps of gaming monitor in Windows 10
I am trying to find out options through which I can measure FPS in Windows 10. I am not able to find any option for the same. I had did this in Windows 7 through a desktop widget. I want to find the same so that I can fix the game lagging issue I am facing. The game which use to work well on Windows 7 are freeing on Windows 10. And they are extremely slow. I want some help here to make it work. I am not sure about using any third party software because I do not think Windows 10 will work with that.

There are many fps software you can try out. In Windows 10 there is some issue with graphic drivers. I am also finding the same thing with Far Cry 4. It is not working well. It use to lag a lot. Sometime there is no display at all. I had updated the drivers but still it is not working. Later I restored my system back to the old Windows 7 and it started working. There is no problem with that now. For gaming Windows 10 does not looks like a good system to me. It has a lot of bugs.

I think the best software for reading fps is fraps. And you can find that on the web for free. Fraps is easy to use with simple options. It has hot keys based support through which you can instantly record a fps. But if this is lagging or the fps quality is very low then you have to somehow find a new video drivers. And then through that you can fix the problem. The drivers will be available on the official site of graphic card manufacturer. Just download them and install it. I am quiet sure it will start working.
