Error Code 9C59 with Internet Explorer 11
If I am trying to update my Internet Explorer 10 to Internet Explorer 11 then I am getting an Error Code 9C59. I am running Windows 7 64bit on my computer. I have also tried to install IE 11 via Windows Update and also downloaded its 64-bit installer but nothing seems to be working for me. I have Microsoft Security Essentials installed in my pc and I have made sure that it is not blocking anything? Does anyone know how do I solve this issue? Thanks
Re: Error Code 9C59 with Internet Explorer 11
Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 cannot automatically install prerequisites if any update installation is in progress or if a system restart is pending. To check whether you have an ongoing update installation or a pending restart in Windows 7, follow these steps:
- Open Control Panel.
- Click System and Security.
- Click Windows Update.

Re: Error Code 9C59 with Internet Explorer 11
If the above solution doesnt work then use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files. To do this, click Start, type Command Prompt or cmd in the Search box, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow. The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files, and replace corrupted files with a cached copy that is located in a compressed folder at %WinDir%\System32\dllcache.

You can also try to reset Windows Update components to solve the Internet Explorer 11 problem which is not installing in your pc. To automatically reset Windows Update components, click Run now, and then follow the on-screen instruction from the link given here - http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9830262
