Kingston HyperX 3K vs Intel 530 ssd
I am looking to purchase a new SSD and want to install Windows 8 operating system on it. I have heard that Kingston uses a good read and write speed compared to the Intel SSD's? If it is true then will it be fine to purchase the Kingston HyperX 3K SSD or should I go with the Intel 530 SSD instead? Any recommendations are welcome. Thank you
Re: Kingston HyperX 3K vs Intel 530 ssd
There are not much difference between the Kingston HyperX 3K SSD and Intel 530 SSD. Just that you get a 5 year warranty on Intel 530 where else you get a 3 years warranty on Kingston HyperX 3K. Also Kingston is a little 10 dollar costlier than the Intell SSD. So, you can go with the Intel 530 which will be more than sufficient to run Windows 8 operating system on your computer.
Re: Kingston HyperX 3K vs Intel 530 ssd
I have heard that the Kingston HyperX 3K SSD is a little faster compared to the Intel 530 SSD although you will not see any difference while using them. I have seen many great review about Kingston though which is quite durable in the long run even if Intel's warranty is more. The thing is just that if you want to make a replacement even after 3 years then you can choose Intel since its warranty is more.
Re: Kingston HyperX 3K vs Intel 530 ssd
Since Kingston HyperX 3K is a little more costlier and also it has a warranty period of only 3 years then I will recommend you to go for Intel 530 SSD which is lower in cost offering 5 years of warranty. In the long run you can rely on the Intel SSD for sure by replacing the drive if there is no physical damage done and also since both offer the same performance then it will be wise to choose the reliable SSD.
