Radeon R7 250 or HD 7750 video card
I am going to buy a new video card and was going for HD 7750. But later I found out that Radeon R7 250 is also released recently and it is the equivalent of HD 7750. So if that is the case then should I go with the Radeon R7 250 graphics card? Will I be getting any performance gain with this new card? Thanks
Re: Radeon R7 250 or HD 7750 video card
After comparing both the Radeon R7 250 or HD 7750 video card it looks like the R7 250 has more features like Amd Stream Technology, AMD Avivo HD, OpenGL 4.3, TriXX Utility, etc; that doesnt comes with HD 7750. The chipset used on Radeon R7 250 is also newer compared to the HD 7750. And newer graphics card are usually considered better than old card.
Re: Radeon R7 250 or HD 7750 video card
After checking the review HD 7750 is little faster than Radeon R7 250. The R7 250 is just a rebadged OEM 8670 which is much slower than HD 7750. If you want then you can go with the 260x model of the radeon card which is quite better than the 7750. Note that you will need to buy a good Power Supply with 6 pin connectors atleast as well.
Re: Radeon R7 250 or HD 7750 video card
Yes, the HD 7750 is a little faster than the R7 250 and both graphics card also support mantle. So, I would suggest you to buy the 7750 which is far more better anytime. You can expect 25% more shaders and it is also clocked higher in comparison. The R7 250 card is not anywhere closer in terms of performance of HD 7750. Hope this helps.
