Xerox Workcentre 3119 printer not working with Windows 7
I have recently received an old printer called Xerox Workcentre 3119 from my cousin and I am trying to get it to work in Windows 7. After connecting the printer in the computer I was getting a message to update windows to make the printer compatible in Windows 7. But after doing the update the printer will not work. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers to no avail. Does anyone know how to get this printer to work in my Windows 7?

You can try to download the Vista drivers for your Xerox printer from its official website and then extract it to the desktop. After that right click on the .exe file and then go to Properties. Now, click on the Compatability tab and then choose to run this file in compatability mode and select vista operating system. Click on ok and then double click to start the installation of the printer driver. After installation check if the printer is working now or not.

I had the same problem and was able to solve it after some research. You need to first remove the driver of the printer from your pc. After that go to Printers > Print Queue > and delete the printer. After that choose different printer and then choose Server Properties option and then choose that and go to the Driver tab. Choose all 3119 drivers and remove it as well along with its package. Also delete all the files from the below folders:
%windir%:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\W32X86
%windir%:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64
After that install the driver by downloading it from here and then go to printers then Add Printer > local printer > choose any port and then browse to \WorkCentre_3119_W7\Printer\GDI\WINXP_VISTA_64\xrxe1.inf and select it.
