Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard and Mouse Announced
The Microsoft Hardware division has announced a new keyboard adopting a original made form that is more comfortable for typing.
In an official statement, Microsoft said it had carried out studies to better understand the needs of people working all day at a computer. The firm added that these reports have allowed them to further optimize its work on ergonomics and especially through its Hardware Department. Following the same terms they have launched the all new Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop, a new set of keyboard / mouse.
Boasting an unconventional shape, the wireless keyboard is divided into two sets of key that is slightly raised and positioned at a perfect level so that both hands can be used in a relaxed position. The keyboard adopts an arcuate shape so the lower part is completed by a palmrest.
The numeric keypad is available separately as the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse, a new mouse-shaped roller whose casting would be considered to keep the wrist in a comfortable position. At the tilt wheel a Windows button is added to access the boot screen of Windows 8.x.
The set is currently available in the United States for U.S. $129.95 while the mouse is only sold at $59.95.
