Kingston HyperX 3K SSD or Samsung 840 SSD
I am looking to purchase new set of SSD for my pc and I am confused between 2 SSDs. Can anyone tell me which is the best ssd among Kingston HyperX 3K and Samsung 840 Pro? Which one should I choose for the installation of Windows 7 on it? Also, should I go with the 120gb space or 250gb space? Thanks for any reply.
Re: Kingston HyperX 3K SSD or Samsung 840 SSD
I would suggest you to buy the Samsung 840 pro 128GB module SSD. It is a little expensive than the Kingston but its worth the extra purchase. The Samsung 840 Pro also has a good benchmark results and I think that toggle NAND is used in it, Kingston uses synchronous NAND that is a little bit slower than the Samsung 840 Pro.
Re: Kingston HyperX 3K SSD or Samsung 840 SSD
If you compare the Samsung 840 SSD with Kingston HyperX 3K SSD then even technical specifications wise then Samsung SSD better. It is also 2 times faster in read speed that you can easily make out and because of this it is worth the extra money that you are paying for. You can easily buy it on the newegg website that you like.
Re: Kingston HyperX 3K SSD or Samsung 840 SSD
The Kingston HyperX is also a pretty good SSD and I am personally satisfied with it. It only takes 8 seconds to boot in my pc and after I am in Windows everything will be faster. I have been running it from last 6 months and have not faced any issues till yet. Also, since it is cheaper than the Samsung 840 SSD, you dont have to spend so much dollars as well.
