Gigabyte GTX 760 vs GTX 660 graphics card
Hello all, I am looking to purchase a new graphics card for gaming purpose and I have come across 2 cards on which I cannot make my mind. So can anyone tell me which among these 2 graphics card would be better to go for, that is; either a Gigabyte GTX 760 or 2 x GTX 660 graphics card? I should be also able to do some video editing and 3D animation from this card properly if I am not mistaken? Any help would be appreicated. Thanks
Re: Gigabyte GTX 760 vs GTX 660 graphics card
Obviously, if you go for the GTX 660 SLI video card then it will be more faster than a single gtx 760 and also will be giving output similar like the GTX 780 graphics card. So, there is no doubt that you should go with the 2 x 660 card. Also, if you would like to know then for 3d rendering there is also a quadro card between these 2 that you have choosen.
Re: Gigabyte GTX 760 vs GTX 660 graphics card
I am using 2 GTX 660 graphics card in SLI and they work pretty well. I am able to render videos as well as open many apps simultaneously without any computer hanging or crashing at all. Then the adobe app will also work flawlessly after I change the CUDA hpu file to detect these new cards. For gaming, there is no other great setup than this cards. These cards are also fast while modifying 3d apps and such.
Re: Gigabyte GTX 760 vs GTX 660 graphics card
Well, I have heard that there are many problems related to double graphics card setups and therefore I would like to suggest you to go with a single GPU only. Now, by using only a single card I dont have any problems playing any games that I used to play with the dual gpu. You should also know that you need to have a better CPU otherwise your card will just bottleneck and wont give you its full performance.
