How to run Kingston HyperX memory at 2400 mhz on Asus motherboard

I am using a Asus Z77 series motherboard and also have Kingston HyperX memory of 2400mhz. Now what I would like to know is, how can I run the memory to run at 2400mhz on my Asus motherboard? When I check the RAM, then I saw that it is running below the 2400mhz and not utilizing the full power it seems. So, can anyone tell me whether there is some settings in the BIOS or somewhere else to run this memory on full 2400mhz or close to it? Thanks.

Well, can you go into the UEFI BIOS and then change it to the XMP mode and thentry to choose the 2400 Mhz. After that login to Windows and then check if the memory is running at 2400mhz or not. If it is still not running at 2400mhz then try not to enable the XMP mode and instead of that try to increase the memory multiplier and see if that works.

I think that you will need to enable the XMP profile in the BIOS or else you can try to set the timings of the RAM manually when you set the speed to 2400mhz. It would be also good if you can set it manually. Also, the 2400mhz memory speed can be achieved by a strong CPU like i7-3770K Processor and then you can get the best performance out of the memory.

Even I was facing same problem with a similar kind of build that you have. When ever I tried to set the RAM to 2400MHz in the BIOS setting then the motherboard used to change it back to 1333MHz.
