freezing problem with Kingston HyperX 3K
Just few months ago I bought a new Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 240gb and all of a sudden I am now having some freezing problem. When my computer starts to freeze then it will approximately take 1-2 minutes to get out of it. I have researched on this problem on the net and found out that it happens because of the Sandforce controller? Can anyone tell me whether it is a bug or some other issue? Thanks.
Re: freezing problem with Kingston HyperX 3K
Well, what motherboard and sata ports are you using? Have you tried installing the latest bios for your mobo, which might eliminate the SSD freezing issues. Most of the motherboard come with stock bios and in time when new products are launched, then supported/new BIOS of motherboard are also released by its manufacturers for these products.

It will be also good that you update the firmware of the SSD drive that you have to the latest version and check if that solves the problem for you. You can download the HyperX SSD firmware from this link - http://www.kingston.com/us/support/t...?model=SH103S3. Or on the same page contact Kingston for the firmware of the SSD that you want to install.

Well, if nothing is working for you then I would suggest that you do a new installation of Windows operating system. But first backup all your important data and then try to do a Secure Erase the drive to first restore it like a new drive. You can use the OCZ's Toolbox utility to perform a Secure Erase on the HyperX 3K, it will delete all data from your SSD.
