Virus warning continously even when there is nothing found
I am getting a constant trojan virus popup. I was trying to install a game on my system which came with a keygen. When I ran the keygen the antivirus popped up a warning about some trojan. I clicked on allow. The game is now installed and I had deleted the keygen. But still the antivirus keeps on giving me trojan notification of the same virus at same location. I am bit annoyed with the same. How can I stop it completely. I cannot find anything in the settings.

There is a virus in your system due to which it is giving you warning. You must never run keygens. They are loaded with malware that can spread in your system and generate major problem.
It will advice you to boot in safe mode and scan your system. If this does not work then you will need to format your system. Take your data backup and format your system. Do not install the keygen back again or it will be infected again. You can try some other antivirus also.

Try Norton. It is a good antivirus. You can get the complete antivirus for 30 days trail. You can download it for free and then scan your system. Remove AVG. It looks the virus is hidden in some part where the antivirus is unable to clean. This is a common issue. A number of virus modifies the file permission due to which you get this kind of problem. I will advice you to scan your system thoroughly and then check back again. Do not use AVG this time.

hey Bahumathi
not all keygens are loaded with malware
just some
if anything i would check the comments on the site that u got the game and kegen from to see if anyone has had malware or spyware issues
if it is a trojan then try to use a app like spybot search and destroy or Anti-Malwarebytes or use linux to solve the virus issue
there are many video's on youtube to show you how to do it
and shetty linux would be able to find and remove the virus right from a live disk
i use linux more than windows

There is one more way to find out where the virus is situated. For that you will have to install Hijackthis in your system. This software is available for free. When you run it, it scans for all running applications and services and generate a log report of the same.
In that you can locate the malware application. There are some bootable antivirus scanner also. You can boot through a CD and then scan it. It works on more root level and gives better cleaning.
