How to upgrade Micromax A110 to V2 ROM
Micromax has released V2 ROM running on Android 4 (ICS) for Micromax A110 Canvas 2 users, which includes improved features and fixes below issues:
- Dial pad issue
- Extends 503 MB of internal storage to 1GB and 2GB as per SD Card allocation
- GPS Bug
- WiFi disconnection problem
So if anyone wants to upgrade their Micromax A110 to V2 ROM then they can follow below simple steps:
Pre- preparation:
Download CWM Backup of Micromax A110 V2 ROM from here
Installation process:
- After downloaded CWM Backup of Micromax A110 V2 ROM in to your PC, extract it and move the extracted Folder your phones /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/folder
- Now switch off your phone, press Volume Up+ Volume Down+ Power Button at the same time for entering the Recovery mode or factory mode.
- Once you have entered the Recovery mode or factory mode, press Volume Up button for selecting “Factory mod” and press Volume Down button for backup and restore.
- Once the backup process gets completed select restore options to restore V2 ROM. After the completion of restoring process clear the Dalvik Cache. Dalvik Cache will be in advanced menu of the cwm recovery.
- After completing all of the above steps, restart your phone. This time your phone might take more time to start, so be patient until your phone starts.
- Upon start your phone should be upgraded to V2 ROM. To confirm the same, go to Storage section and check out the internal storage. If you see it more than 503 MB then you have upgraded your Micromax A110 to V2 ROM successfully.
