Not able to uninstall Office 2013
My system runs windows 7 and i had installed Office 2013 a week ago. I want to switch back to Office 2010 but for some reason i am not able to uninstall it. I have tried removing it from control panel but nothing happens when i select it and click on uninstall. What can i do now?? Is there any other way of uninstalling it???
Re: Not able to uninstall Office 2013
Are you getting any error message when you are trying to uninstall Office 2013 form control panel??? Does windows uninstalled say this "We're Sorry, Office couldn't be uninstalled" error in Office 2013”. If yes, then let me know about it so that I can suggest you appropriate solution for dealing with that error.
Re: Not able to uninstall Office 2013
No I am not getting any error message as such, like I have mentioned nothing happens when I select it and click on uninstall. I did not had any issue in installing it don’t know what went wrong with it after getting installed. I also wanted to add that I had made clean installation of Office 2013, so I don’t think there might be any instance Office 2010 than might be messing around with it.
Re: Not able to uninstall Office 2013
I think there is some program that is preventing Office 2013 from getting uninstalled. Just close all background programs and try running windows uninstaller ad the stand alone program. You can try disabling your antivirus and other security program while uninstalling Office 2013 as well. Just try out things I have suggested and let me know the response you get, so that I can get better idea of the issue you are going through.
Re: Not able to uninstall Office 2013
I have tried disabling antivirus and other security program and have tried running windows uninstaller as the standalone program as well but no luck. There is something else that is wrong but I am not able to track out the same. Let me know if there is anything else that I can try out further.
