Fujitsu's Stylistic M532 tablet pc for professionals

Fujitsu announced a powerful tablet for professionals. Called as STYLISTIC M532 the tablet is rich with robust design and rich features. You can simply make this a best alternative inplace of your laptop. The tablet is a costly device. The price lies between $500 to $600. It does not provide Android and games utility, but is a secure platform for business people who mostly look for productivity tools. It comes with a VDI features. This provided by Fujitsu where you can work on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. You can access the system and manager your work from anywhere on a secure platform. It offers you a inbuilt app for connecting to Corporate Exchange server and contact sharing. There are some multimedia feature too provided.

It looks that Fujitsu is using some kind of its own factory OS in this thing. I had also tried to locate the OS, but found nothing on that. So we can assume that the table is not at all made for fun purpose. If you read the specs you will find what it actually provides.

Stylistic M532 features a powerful body and internal hardware. It is made with military class material so that you can work anywhere with it. It is powered by a 1.4Ghz Tegra 3 cpu. And the tablets internal storage is around 32GB which is fair enough. It work fine and offer you a better performance. It is not at all complicated to handle. It manages all kind of tolerance and give you better tracking ability. The price of this tablet is around $549. This is quiet a high price. Tablets are quiet delicate products to handle. So seeing the need of corporates this tablet can offer robust feature.

With some inhouse OS this tablet gives you powerful security also. In business system you do not need extra features. Also the servers are protected by powerful firewall to avoid any issue. Fujitsu might have optimized the operating system to give best protection under every circumstances. It come packed with VDI as mentioned above. This environment offers companies to configure a virtual desktop mode. There are number of packages for it that you can go for. There is no tablet in the market that offer you this support. At a time it is possible to add upto 42 virtual desktop on the same. It is a flexible solution for business.

So it looks that this tablet is not made for gaming and multimedia. Now companies might handover this tablet to their employees and will make them work anywhere. Tablets are quiet comfortable devices.

Compared to laptop, tablets gives you more mobility. And tablet like Stylistic M532 are very different. It is right that it is not made for gaming or multimedia usage. It is designed for business purpose only. Somehow the tablet has integrated security solution which protects your data from getting leaked. VDI is the prime highlight of this device which allow to have a secure access when you are controlling your daily applications through remote location. The softwares inside this tablet is optimized to give you a good amount connectivity features and perform various number of task. I am also sure that there is no Android in this. As the OS in itself is not secure to some extent.

The specification column of this tablet does not provide any information on the OS used in it. It looks some kind of proprietor stuff used. Along with robust design, this is ultralight tablet that is easy to carry and use. There are number of docking solution available. The front screen is protected by Gorilla Glass which is strong enough to handle.

I had seen certain images of this tablet. I found it nice, but did not really expected the features. I thought there would be some options to add android on the same. It looks this tablet is not just the regular one.

The tablet features ample of options which are needed for work. Like wifi, bluetooth, with usb connectivity and card support. To meet the video calling need there are too camera provided. The first at the front side which is 2 megapixel and the second one at the backside which is 8 megapixel. Along with autofocus and flash support. So in short the tablet offers you optimum solutions. There are audio connectivity provided also. The tablet is for those who simply have to move from place to place and need to rely on the laptop for connectivity support. There is sim slot I think.

So at that point you can only rely on the wifi connectivity. You can view your mails, configure the tablet with exchange server and run multiple virtual desktop mode here to perform number of task. There are certain multimedia features also for refreshment. I found this tablet very basic but yet a powerful device for business usage. Though there are no better features that you are looking in regular Android devices but the device is quiet useful

Somehow this is not a choice of common person. You cannot simply spend that much amount if you are not going to use those features. I am sure there are not many people who really need VDI.

If we talk about the hardware specs then that is much better. It offers you a 32GB internal storage with 1GB ram of 800Mhz. That makes it a powerful performance. The cpu used inside is Nvidia Tegra 3T30S Quad core cpu. That cpu is not yet provided any tablet pc yet.

The tablet features a better option for those who would like to work on their corporate servers. So as a alternative for their existing laptop, the tablet is yet more portable to carry. Fujitsu do not provided any option to configure a sim slot in the same, but yet the device is a better professional tool.

I am sure when the tablet is released there will be rooting possibilities on the same. We can add up android on it and play high end games. The tablet is quiet awesome device but must come with modification options.
